NVM has joined with other churches in the Alvord area to provide daily meals to Senior Citizens in the Alvord community. Meal preparation is overseen by our Food Coordinator, DeAnna Johnson.

Each summer, local Alvord churches provide school supplies to students in need enrolled in the Alvord ISD. The school district coordinates with Mt. Zion Baptist Church with items needed. Mt. Zion organizes and distributes lists to the supporting churches, including NVM.

Our NVM food pantry is stocked with pantry staples, along with frozen and refrigerated food. Dianne Thielen oversees the collection and distribution of food.

We are developing a series of teaching and ministry sessions, to be used by our Ministry Training Centers for the NVM International churches.

Intercessory prayer is coordinated by Pastor LaVerne Brittain. She has a team of over 40 people, who have a heart to take your needs to the Father. Mighty moves of God have been witnessed through these prayer warriors, in Jesus Mighty Name. Praise God.

We give a monthly support to our local Wise Choices Pregnancy Resource Center. Wise Choices offers a variety of resources and services to help women make the best decision. These include, but not limited to, tests, limited ultrasound exams, parenting classes, and so much more.
